Albert is a native of Statesboro, GA, where he graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He has provided a wide range of accounting, tax, and consulting services to individuals and small businesses for over 42 years. In addition to the traditional practice areas of tax and small business consulting, Albert currently provides a wide range of fiduciary services, including conservator, guardian, trustee and executor.
Albert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). He has served on the Board of Directors of the GSCPA and in various leadership roles for the Heart of Georgia Chapter of the GSCPA. He has been a member of the Dublin Exchange Club since 1976 and, through the years, has held numerous leadership positions, and was the club’s President in 1980/1981. Albert was honored as the Exchangite of the Year in 1980. He also served on the organizing committee and as the initial President of the Dublin Exchange Foundation. For many years, he was an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed many hiking, camping, climbing, and canoe trips. He has also served in leadership roles for various other civic and community organizations in the Dublin area. He is currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin.
In his leisure time, Albert enjoys reading, boating, fishing, and visiting with family. He and his wife, Judy, love to travel and have a huge bucket list of destinations . They have four children and nine grandchildren.
